Pregnancy
Nutrition before, during and after pregnancy is very important to both mother and baby.
Body fat content has a large influence on female fertility. Being overweight or obese can affect ovulation and response to fertility treatment.
During pregnancy, the fetus is most susceptible to nutritional imbalance during the first trimester. Following birth of baby, mothers should aim to achieve optimal nutritional intake particularly if breastfeeding.
Dietetic input is therefore necessary during all stages of pregnancy to ensure a healthy balanced diet is provided to both mother and baby.
Jennifer is available on Saturdays. Various packages are available; please see Fees for more information.
Jennifer is committed to optimising the health and well-being of people by providing education, motivation and support. She believes that food is one of the great pleasures of life and all food can be enjoyed as part of a well-balanced, healthy lifestyle.
